Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
When did you start playing the harp?
I started harp lessons in the fall of 2008, when I was 15 years old.
Where did you study?
I completed my Bachelor of Music Degree at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
Can I buy your sheet music?
Yes! You can see all my available sheet music here. If the title you’re looking for is not on my website or Sheet Music Plus, it means I don’t have the copyright permissions to distribute it and there is no way for me to give it to you legally.
Where can I listen to your music?
What harps do you play/Which harp is that in your video?
Over the years, I have had the privilege to play on a number of harps. My first harp was a 47-string Venus harp, and in my videos you can also see the following harps: Dusty Strings Ravenna, Heartland Harps Legend, Aoyama Etude 46/47, and Lyon & Healy Style 23.
I want to take harp lessons, where do I start?
Do you take commissions?
Sometimes, depending on my schedule! If you want me to arrange a particular song and make a recording, please contact me for more information about rates and project timelines.
Can you play <insert song name> on your YouTube channel?
I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to play all requests that come my way on my YouTube channel, but I do always want to know what my audience would like to hear! To send in a song request, you can fill out my contact form or leave a comment on any of my social media.
Can you play <insert song name> at my wedding?
If you will be hiring me to play for your wedding ceremony or reception in the Winnipeg or surrounding area, then I can play all the songs on my Repertoire List, and if there is a song you’d like that’s not on the list, I currently offer one free new song per event. If you would like me to learn more than one new song, I will learn additional songs for $25 per song.
I also reserve the right to decline new songs if they are unsuitable for harp or if there is not enough time remaining until the event.
What music is included for a wedding ceremony?
